saluting resilience is one thing and bolstering it another

Salaam Bombay!!!!!!!!!
Bombay Is Back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Mumbaikar's Spirit!!!!!!!!!!!
All this is very good but , i may ask -WHAT HAS THE GOVT. DONE TO ENSURE THAT THE MUMBAIKAR STAYS IN GOOD SPIRITS? a lousy drainage system which fails in the face of normal monsoons, an errant tribe of hooligans flourishing who bash up any innocent mortal
and now , as has been exposed a third class security arrangement that couldn't have prevented osama from walking srtaight into the presidential suite and use his dressing room!!!
and be realistic , ARE THE LOCAL TRAIN'S AND TRACK'S SO WELLMAITAINED SO AS TO EARN GENUINE APPROVAL?
WHAT THE IS THE ACHIEVEMENT AND WORK DONE BY THE GOVT. TO UPKEEP THE MUMBAIKAR'S UNDYING SPIRIT.
financial capitals aren't the trading grounds for profit making banias, they are the models for a developing economy.
If this is what the state can do for it's citizens no wonder it will be proud at the resilience shown by the people in coping with these glaring eyesores in the name of governance.
" aah ko chahiye ek umar asar hone taq"
may ghjalib was right in foreseeing the plight of common men in this world.
be it in emotions or in greviences.

what we all hope though is that this govt. apathy ends and instead saluting and congratulating people for their bravery, which is a fact undisputedly true,
the govt. does something useful and worthwhile at least this once to prove that introspection and conscience are not enxtict words in the official gazette.
