Caste Based Census -The Lone Positive move in the Muck called Reservation Politics.

I can still hear the nauseating sermons and lectures coughed out by our Secular leaders wherein they promised that caste , creed , religion shall no longer be the basis of any developmental politics. I have before my eyes our idealistic Constitution which promises the same things. Then again I also have in mind the glorious 60 years of our democratic republic where all idealistic notions of secularism and anti-caste stands were literally trampled upon by our Political fraternity , without any exception.

After almost 40 years of repulsive and foul mouthed indulgence in political cheap talk the govt. has finally come up with a honest idea. No more hypocrisy no more hidden agenda and shameless bigotry. We are finally ready to admit that caste does matter. Religion does matter. And why not?

after all 50 % of all govt jobs are allotted on the basis of caste..We already have had religion based reservation in place in the form of legal fiction . So why pretend otherwise. In fact systematically organising data with reference to such parameters shall only help us all in wiping out this menace of reservation.

I have never seen a needy fellow availing the advantages of this reservation policy. The rich as they say are getting richer the poor are getting slaughtered. Caste census would give us a real clear picture as to who all are getting undue benefits from the reservation system .
